In January-February we focus on the local sand bass bite as well as lobster charters locally in Newport Beach and Catalina Island.
In March and April we still target the local sand bass but also shift our fishing guide focus on the traditional deep sea fishing for rockfish locally and at the islands.
In April the fishing starts to come alive everywhere and the options start to really open back up.

We specialize in targeting yellowtail, calico bass, white seabass barracuda, dorado, bonito and tuna in these summer months on our charters. Also, big grumpy sand bass spawn local and can be wide open at times.

The best time to be a Southern California fishing guide is September and October. The crowds are gone and the fish are here!

Barracuda, bonito, rockfish, sand bass, and halibut are targeted later in this season as fall turns to winter.
